Unconventional but does anyone have any ideas what to do with a cracked base? Thinking about making it into a table and using furnace cement. The warranty with BGE has been a breeze for me.

I turned mine into a planter pot and have a cherry tomato plant in it. It sits by my egg and blackstone.
I just dropped a plastic pot in it that was about the same size with holes in the bottom, added dirt and plant.
Repair with furnace cement, then sell on Fb Market place or sell for someone else to repair.

I planted a dwarf avocado tree in it.

I’ve been wondering what to do with my cracked base for over a decade… hundreds of awesome cooks as I think about it!

I like the idea of using it as the base for a table. It may be a good base for a small firepit. Place the metal components inside.

Id furnace cement the crack and use it as an open fire pit.

Mine got turned into a planter. Rocks on the bottom, then dirt. Put it in an old nest I have. If you do turn it into a table, please post in this sub, would love to see it.
