Exciting moment for me tonight as I drink this wonderful wine for what is likely the last time, wishing theyade it for more than 2 vintages. 26 year old NV sekt from the Rheinland Pfalz. Spent 20 years on the lees, only NV because the dosage doesn't match the original vintage. Tasting notes in comments.

Amber in colour. Gentle carbonation. Aromas of applesauce, wet stones, and dried lemon peel. The palate is mature. Dry, but flavours of dried fruit and typical Riesling aromatics give a slight perception of sweetness. On opening, notes of bruised pear, potpourri, ripe orange, and nectarines. Drank over the course of a couple hours, and was fading slightly by the end, but never lost its shine!
Curious to see how many others around here are familiar with this little family winery.
Thought I was on the Corvette subreddit for a moment.
