It’s been a while since I had my grow operational. I’m almost exclusively growing varieties I haven’t grown before. The only returnee is seed I saved from a Poblano pepper.

I’m growing quite a few mild peppers. Last batch I made killer smoked Ancho’s. Wanted to expand on that with some paprika varieties. There is one wildcard. A Chocolate Bhut Jolokia that I am never going to eat, but wanted to grow it for bragging rights.

    1. Jalapeno
    2. Poblano
    3. Czech Black
    4. Bola
    5. Edes Fuszer
    6. Zebrange
    7. Habanero Surinam Red
    8. Chocolate Bhut Jolokia

Hitting a few challenges as not all peppers seem to like the environment. Especially the Zebrange and the Poblano seem particularly unhappy. I’m thinking it’s a temperature issue as all foliage is quite dense with compact growth. But overall things are progressing.

Unexpectedly, the Edes Fuszer (which was slow) is close to flowering. While I would pinch normally. I am thinking about letting it flower as I have multiple plants of each.

Currently waiting for a new delivery of nutrients as the old liquid I have are roughly 3 years old and I have some precipation.
