Just sat through an economic presentation show the impact of ICE raid and tariffs. 40% of farming labor force is undocumented migrant workers. If 10% of them are deported and Trump does his tariffs, the minimum food inflation is 25% to 30%. This inflation exceeds 50% at a 13.5% deportation rate.
But this is what American voters wanted. Higher grocery prices were widely predicted before the election. They still consciously voted for it. 🤷♂️
