The homies at illegal mezcal made these for the first term, wearing it with pride under my whites every day. Our industry would be NOTHING without immigrants. Protect your homies. CHINGA LA MIGRA!

I think most of us share that experience, chef. As a daughter of an immigrant whom did come here illegally, my work ethic is a direct result of my father’s sacrifice, teachings and actions. My father is a citizen now and worked his ass off to get it. Seeing others denied that, folx that just want a better life for their children, kills me and should break the heart of the collective industry. My father is Ecuadorian.

EDIT : For context – this was a reply to u/rustcrayfish767 ‘s comment that wasn’t put in the thread lol.

Shirt from a bar in Antigua Guatemala. Saw them all the time when I was down there. Really surprised to see that posted here haha

Shirt must be pungent by now. Use ICE to remove the smell

Of course, and immigrants aren’t being deported. Illegal immigrants are. Ya know, just how Clinton and Obama did.

Edit: Downvoted as if it’s not 100% fact. Bill Clinton deported 12 million illegal immigrants. Obama 5.2 million. Trump in his first term, 1 million. Clinton and Obama would be doing exactly what Trump is doing.

Why is it using the incorrect conjugation of ser? Is it part of the joke?

His granddaddy came to America illegally to evade mandatory military service in Germany. He tried to beg his way back in, but he was not allowed back in. And that’s how that family came to America. The family was always very secretive about their origins, never saying specifically where in Europe they came from and how they got here.

  8. I remember seeing that at a bar in Oxacaca 🤣 good to know it’s still relevant
