We encountered a restaurant called Yoshinoya in Japan that did not require reservations, so we went in and tried it out.

Cool! I’ll put a raw egg in my ramen and that satisfies me, too. Interesting looking dish, good score on the restaurant. Kampai, Cat

You need reservations at Yoshinoya like you need one at McDonald’s. It’s one of the chains of gyudon restaurants

If you think Yoshinoya is good, wait til you try Nakau.

An important note, especially while in Japan—never leave your chopsticks in your rice like that. It’s considered very disrespectful and bad luck, as it’s symbolic of funerals.

I prefer onsen tamago.
