I’m just imagining someone sitting in a room, procrastinating finishing the bread making process, and sloooooowly the lid lifts up and it begins to emerge like “you haven’t forgotten me…?” “have you…?”.

In my early bread making days, my 1st Sourdough Starter climbed out of the container, down the microwave, down the cabinet & started across the floor.
Seriously looked like a remake of “The Blob”! 🤯

When you run out of patience and start boiling over.

Glad to see others use a stockpot. Dough for brioche, focaccia, ciabatta, baguettes, pumpernickel, soft dinner rolls and sandwich loaves or Danish rugbrød – I make each one without a mixer all in the stockpot. Clean up is so much easier when everything is contained in one vessel.
