Weekly burger with charred onions

I’m a fan of charred onions. They are cooked in a grill basket outdoors over an open flame. They add great grilled flavor.
Chilly burger night! Last night’s special had Home ground chuck smash patties, American cheese, a pile of charred onions, my mustard pickles, homemade burger sauce, on a buttered and griddled homemade bun.
