Aroma: Caramel, allspice, dried apricots, mandarin peel, and pineapple

Taste: Consisted of the aroma notes with an amazing freshness, opulence, and a nice balancing green apple acidity

Finish: An ultra-long finish that ended with dried apricot/pineapple

As the saying goes, “When God drinks wine, he drinks d’Yquem!” This 2009 truly is a 100 point wine!

  1. Mav’s gonna be catching strays in every sub over this trade.

I expect a post from a Mavs fan drinking car coolant in a glass

Certainly, not Yquem, but had a ‘75 Rieussec last night. These wines go on forever. Half a century and such grandeur

  4. I don’t understand the title. Who is Luka? The neighbor from the Susan Vega song?

I thought it was April fools day when I saw that trade had to check the calendar

    Also cool wine or whatever

Sounds wonderful. I have a 2005 in my cellar that I’ll be cracking open any day now. So excited.

Definitely worth celebrating. LA just got their man for the future. Cheers man! 🥂

  8. to add, i wonder what bottles Lebron popped on hearing this news! He’s a huge wino that drinks blue-chip names. Would not be surprised if vintage Krug & DRC were chugged last night. This deal is truly insane! Lebron must have offered to buyout the Adelsons to get Luka.
