I'm from a country where there's not a lot of options available for spicy stuff, other than Tabasco, Tabasco and more Tabasco. I decided to order this one, looks promising. Not tried it yet tho.

Personally love gouchajang. I will mix some with mirin, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic, and soy sauce and make like a sauce with it. It’s amazing with a lot of different foods. I was also going to make a gouchajang aoili soon to try it for different applications.

It’s awesome, great and versatile in a ton of sauces. Make this sauce with it: 1/2 C Sherry Vinegar 1/2 C Grapeseed Oil 4 Tbsp Ssamjang 2 Tbsp Gochujang

Gochujang is amazing but I have yet to find one that’s spicy enough. I got the 2 or 3 hottest ones at HMart and none do it for me.
I make a pretty mean ground pork/beef/chicken/turkey that I put in ramen and I use a heavy serving of gochujang in it but still wind up using ghost pepper flakes in the end.

Even the spicy stuff, the spice becomes diluted in whatever food you put into it but boy oh boy does this have depth and body.

Love it. I’m not a fan of this one because of the corn syrup and wheat flour. O’Food is good.

I haven’t tried this brand, but I like Gojuchang. It’s the most important ingredient in like my favorite dish, Bulgogi. Spicy Sweet korean bbq.

Don’t think of it as a sauce, it’s an ingredient for recipes. That said, it’s a FANTASTIC ingredient, especially for meat or tofu marinades/stir fry sauces

I dig it and use it a lot in stir fry dishes.

I love that stuff. I make mock buddak sauce with it. Full buddak is too spicy but i love the flavor. This thing is perfect.

The NY Times has a gochugang caramel cookie that will knock your socks off. You’ve gotta try it.

Mix with Lao Gan Ma sauce and toss some fries with it. 😋

Gouchajang is a staple even here in Japan. It is the go-to paste for everything Korean. Bibimbap is one of my favorite Korean dishes. I doubt if they’re using this paste in Trump country, though.

It’s tasty. I make chicken thighs with it all the time and they are great. I buy an extra hot version from my local Asian store.
I put that shit on everything. Great on pizza.
nice base level heat. like to put in my ramen and many other things
We love govhujang! We mix it in with cinnamon and brown sugar when we make cinnamon rolls, they’re incredible!
