I got this rice for cheap thinking i got a good deal but when i try to steam in the rice cooker it doesnt work i think its short grain rice but its not working at all anyone help me with this?

What are you asking? Add rice to pot, add equal water, and cook. Is it coming out as mush? Is it dry as fuck?

Need more details… What does the grains looks like? The amount of water in the cooker? End result? Cant help fix if no details.
Its 23 year old rice, or its a company that’s been growing rice for 23 years. Its pretty vague, apparently it’s got stones and grit and some dude cracked a tooth. Personally I would bin it and get some good rice.
I think there is a reason you got it cheap, one person said they washed it 7-8 times and it remained very sticky

I’ve never had rice “not work” lol. You either have to add more water or cook it longer, or both.
