Cuba is definitely wrong. They use very mild seasoning. I’ve asked a few of them about it and they get very annoyed when I bring up how close to Mexico they are. “But we’re not Mexican!” And no I’m not talking about the resort food.

List seems extremely wrong

Not spicy enough unless it’s on the dark red or black part of the map!

Can’t see this is correct at all. Taiwanese food is fragrant but mild. They don’t like very spicy.

Italy, Spain and Turkey make widespread use of chillies in traditional food. Very spicy food is easy to find in the UK and Ireland due to migration patterns, so they have every right to be in the same pale red category as, say, New York.. Taiwan doesn’t go for particularly spicy food (to my knowledge, at least, but happy to be proven wrong).

Some clueless twat appears to have made this map with no research.

I love the weird pocket from Milwaukee to Detroit. I guess they like things spicy in Gary, Indiana.

Having travelled (and worked in) most of the world, this map is utter junk. Not indicative at all !

UK should be one if the southern US is. There has been a huge Indian influence on our cuisine.

Umm Northern Indiana is the blandest place on the planet spice wise, this map is bogus.

I’ve seen what Filipinos call spicy, they definitely should Not be that high

Thai is my favorite. People say Indian food is very spicy but it’s rare to find where I live

What with the random darker spot I’m the great lakes area?

This list is definitely wrong. Looks more like a list based off some weird bias or maybe off dishes associated with that Country. Example: We Canadians don’t live on a diet of Poutine and Maple Syrup.
