    If you’re looking for constructive criticism I would suggest flipping the steak more often when searing. A lot of old school cooks think it’s a sin to flip a steak more than once, but leaving it on one side too long is what gives you that grey band around the inside edge of your slices. You can still build up just as nice of a crust by flipping often, while also widening your “window” of perfectly pink med-rare meat. 

    Again, bangin’ steak. I would absolutely devour that, certainly better than almost any other post here lol. But if you seek perfection that’s what I would focus on next. Cheers!
