Yes I did this a little while ago, I have frozen cookie dough in my freezer right now!

I love when I do future me a favour. In fact, I’m pretty sure I still have two frozen cookies in the freezer from past me being kind to myself. Might be time to bake and eat those and make new frozen cookies.

    Thanks for the inspiration 🥰

I have done this but… I would end up eating a ball of frozen dough every time I wanted a cookie… they didn’t last long enough to bake

My dad’s favorite thing to do when he stops by my house is ask if I made him any cookies. For Christmas this year, I gifted him six dozen frozen cookies dough balls to keep in his freezer so he could have my homemade cookies hot and fresh any time he wants. Much better than making him a Christmas cookie box that would get stale in a couple days.

Well that’s it… I have to get a bigger freezer.

I do this often and vacuum seal the frozen cookies.

Best thing I ever gave my future self…fresh cookies baked straight from the freezer! I used to bake them all at once but in a couple of days they just weren’t as good so I started only doing 6 or so at a time then freezing the rest like this and it’s amazing!! Just pop them in the oven while cleaning up from dinner and boom fresh baked cookies with my tea! 😋

I just did this the other day! I love baking just a few cookies at a time so they are fresh. 🥰

I did this last Christmas, total of 400 cookies mixed and scooped. So nice if I ‘need’ cookies and I don’t want to eat all the baked cookies when I can only bake 6-12 at a time.

Did that this past weekend! Double the recipe, dirty the kitchen once, have cookies on demand for a good bit.

My freezer stash is dwindling. Maybe I’ll restock it this weekend

Yup! This is what we do all year long!

Yes! But I tend to form into a rough log and just slice them as I go. Wonder how much that influences texture. Maybe a delicious experiment is in order…
