Lots of fruit on the nose and a lovely malolactic taste that wasn’t overwhelming like the Odyssey Chardonnay I liked. Long nose and a deep yellow colour. Could have been better with another few years storing but still great drinking. Well above my usual price range but worth every cent.

This is another top-class, sophisticated NZ Chardonnay that joins [Isabel](https://www.reddit.com/r/wine/comments/ru2yjg/2015_chardonnay_by_isabel_estate_marlborough_new/) and [Church Road Grand Reserve](https://www.reddit.com/r/wine/comments/1ewpvh7/two_church_road_grand_reserve_bottles_from_hawkes/) as deserving of it’s NZD40 price tag.
