I need help figuring out how I would go about making this at home, ive made sushi before, but nothing this intricate.
It came from a place called shogun:
120 Morris Rd, Clarksville, TN 37040
And this is the menu description
"
Shogun Chef Special Roll
Spicy Crab, Cream Cheese, Jalapeno & Avocado w/ Sauce
$16.95
"
I wish i had a better picture, but the way I remember it, it was in a larger somewhat rectangular shape,
Its been a while since I had this but I was just thinking about it and realized I could attempt making it, even if it dosent turn out, it would be a good experience. Any suggestions or help are welcome, thanks 🙂

So Its tough to go off of the description and picture but I’ll do my best.
Looks just like a flatter fried roll. End of the day it’s the same process as sushi.
Make the rice
Spread rice on seaweed
Lay out ingredients on half the seaweed
Fold in half and clothes the sides (you can use pieces or rice basically like glue to hold the seaweed closed)
I’m guessing it would look a bit like a weird sandwich, where the ingredients are layered horizontally instead of vertically like a normal sandwich.
then bread it with panko (flour then egg than panko would be my guess)
The fry the whole thing (can probably pan fry as well as that takes much less oil, you really just need to get the outside fried)
Then just cut cubes from the finished product.
Not sure if that’s right but it’s my best guess with the information provided
Hash browns??!! Now that’s what I call Sushi!
yeah… not in our home. no thanks.
There is this exact recipe on r/SushiAbomination
