Hi all, please let me know if I should post this elsewhere!

A friend bought an Elektra Microcasa Semiautomatic S1. They are pulling 12 g-ish shots in a single portafilter and asked if I would taste them.

These shots take FOREVER to pull, like 40 seconds to even start. A few took 1 minute 45 seconds start to finish. I adjusted the grind slightly coarser and tried tamping it more likely and the improvement was barely there. There really isn't any crema and the flavor is incredibly bitter, and strangely oily.

I was just popping in and I think more science and testing is needed – different beans, a scale, shot glasses to measure volume, etc. – but I was wondering if anyone could point me to videos/content to help us get better at this or troubleshoot. I took a video start to finish (I did my best with one hand).
