  1. You can probably get saw dust for free at any local lumber yard if you’re going to burn pit boss pellets 🙄

Those are the 20lb bags. Walmart near me has the 40lb bags for $14.97 year round. Still a good deal. Very little dust and I really like the comp blend. The hickory one is pretty strong.

I’ve gone through about 400lbs of these on a recteq 340 with no issues. I let it sit outside and only vacuum it out every couple of years

Menards sells 40 pound bags for the price of these 20 pounders

You can get Costco pellets, 40lbs for $12.99. Made by Pitt Boss, decent enough.

Pit Boss are junk. They don’t use the real wood that’s named in the bag. Flavored crap. I use jealous devil and bear mountain

The standard price at Lowe’s is 16.99 for the 40lb bag

Check out Walmart or Lowes if you are near one. WM sells 40 pound bags for $15 and Lowes sells them for $17. The good thing about these stores is that the turnover of merchandise is high so you don’t end up with bags sitting around for months gathering moisture.

At my Walmart and Menards they are $15 for a 40lb bag normal price. No walmart near you ?

The hickory blend isn’t bad. However, if I may make a recommendation. Lumberjack has 100% hickory, and their hickory blend is hickory and oak.

Pit boss might be using alder.

Friends don’t let friends use manufacturer branded pellets.

Although that’s a seemingly good find. $7.50 for 20 pounds.

I’d rather spend few bucks extra and get Bear Mountain or LumberJack pellets.
