Finally Made it to Buffalo!

After talking about doing this for nearly decades, my wife, me and some of our long time friends since college days made the journey to Buffalo for some authentic wings. We hit Kelly’s Korner Saturday and Gabriella Gate Sunday. Both suggestions I found on Reddit. We tried the medium sauce at both places. Kelly’s Korner wings were fabulous! Nice crisp, meaty wings and the sauce was drinkable. Gabriel’s was also terrific but slightly less awesome in taste and crispiness of skin. Also, Kelly’s Korner comes off as a very local, non-touristy spot. Gabriel’s a fancier place with an upscale feel and much broader menu. Gotta add in here that we got some Beef on Weck as a side car to our wings at both places, albeit Gabriel’s calls it a Cottage Sandwich. The beef in weck at Kelly’s Korner was incredible. Loaded with delicious and tender meat and the roll was great! I am already looking to plan another trip back to Buffalo to hit some other spots. Any suggestions welcome here!
