Eclectic little diner in Lake View Terrace, up by Pacoima, that does Mexican food, American breakfast, and Ethiopian food. Originally just a regular diner, it was bought by an Ethiopian family, and over time people encouraged them to add Ethiopian stuff, and honestly it's some of my favorite Ethiopian food in LA. It's pretty entertaining to just look around in here too. Kind of surreal to eat doro wat while a mural of Lucy and Ricky look down at you from above the salsa bar.

That injera is *really* fucking with my trypophobia. Idk if I’ll ever be able to eat Ethiopian food 😩

  3. +1 for Ranch Side Cafe! Tasty, friendly, nice little patio area, across the street from horses. All in all, great weird experience!

Just look at the parking lot on weekends and you will realize how good this place is.

  7. As a person that is half Mexican and half Ethiopian born in America, I feel I NEED to go here

I love this place. Their huevos rancheros are good, too.

This restaurant is SOOOO out of place. Probably the best thing in the whole sylmar/san fernando/pacoima/sunland region, but completely looks like a standard American greasy spoon breakfast joint. Great vegetarian+vegan options too!

  10. Totally forgot about this place! Thanks for the reminder. The Ethiopian really does slap here.
