Hello. I am not sure what kind of tomato I have. Can anyone help me identify what this is, please?

  1. The size makes me think cherry but usually cherry tomatoes have a few of them on the same vine/stalk (not sure how to describe it but all together)

If I had to make a call, I’d say cherry, likely from the Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme variety. It has the small, round shape typical of cherry tomatoes, along with a smooth, shiny skin.

Do you know which variety you planted? Some common cherry tomato varieties include Sweet 100, Sungold, Super Sweet 100, and Red Cherry. If you taste it and it’s particularly sweet, it might be one of the sweeter hybrid varieties!
