Here are the details:
>1) Insufficient or no hot holding, cold storage or cold holding equipment provided to maintain Time/Temperature Control for Safety Foods (TCS) at required temperatures
>2) Food, supplies, or equipment not protected from potential source of contamination during storage, preparation, transportation, display, service or from customer’s refillable, reusable container. Condiments not in single-service containers or dispensed directly by the vendor.
>3) Cold TCS food item held above 41 °F; smoked or processed fish held above 38 °F; intact raw eggs held above 45 °F; or reduced oxygen packaged (ROP) TCS foods held above required temperatures except during active necessary preparation.
>4) Hot TCS food item not held at or above 140 °F.
>5) Non-food contact surface or equipment made of unacceptable material, not kept clean, or not properly sealed, raised, spaced or movable to allow accessibility for cleaning on all sides, above and underneath the unit.
>6) Anti-siphonage or back-flow prevention device not provided where required; equipment or floor not properly drained; sewage disposal system in disrepair or not functioning properly. Condensation or liquid waste improperly disposed of.
I used to eat here once a week. Rough stuff. This location has already been scrubbed from the Mysttik Masaala website.

I had a weirdly sour chicken tikka masala from here, so gross.

Their food truck in LIC was pretty mid.

Their food is garbage. It looks Indian but the spices just aren’t there. I’ve been skipping over their urbanspace and holiday market stalls since they’ve opened. This is another reason to add to the list.

GOOD! No one should pay $6 for ONE samosa anyway, I’ve literally been pissed about this for like two years
I had two different ex coworkers text me about this place closing down, my hatred was palpable lol

Overpriced and mid, good riddance

This used to be a cart on I think 53rd and Park Avenue (I’m talking back in the early to mid 2010s) and it was SO fucking good.
I used to go most days for lunch, no exaggeration at least 3 days per week.
Then I moved away, moved back 5 years or so later and saw they opened up in Urban Spaces so I went to go check it out. The owner still remembered me and was like “where have you been!?”
Anyway, only went back that one time that they had a brick and mortar location. The prices were absurd and the food wasn’t as good.
Such a shame.

I found a piece of glass in my saag paneer and they yelled at me like it was my fault.

This place absolutely sucked anyway especially compared to some of the other absolute bangers at Urban Hawker. Watery sauce, zero spices or flavor and the rice just wasn’t ever quite right. The samosa was OK, but only because they gave it to me for free because they took so long.
Pelayo_217
Their veggie samosas were good though.

They don’t let their workers keep the tips at the one in Urban Space near grand central.

Close the entire place. That soft opening and that first week when everyone from Singapore was there working and training………. Amazing. Never seen such a sharp decline in any nyc establishment after opening.
