Not the prettiest pictures, but I made myself a two-tier vanilla and chocolate cake for my birthday!


For not owning a a proper stand mixer, cake decorating stand, or cake pans, this came out really good! I literally used a lazy susan covered in foil, a ceramic pie dish (i had to make the layers one at a time – not fun lol), and my cheap hand mixer. It wasn't too sweet or bland – it was really mild and spongy.
