I’ve been seeing similar posts of this! Growing up we had “hot dog casserole” Split hotdogs at the bottom of a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes (we made a buttery sage mash) and then finish with cheese (we used sharp cheddar) bake till cheese melts. Man I miss it. My partner is allergic to potatoes, this is the only thing I truly miss.
