  1. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I work in a warehouse, not a kitchen anymore.

    still…REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

WRAP IT UP, PUT IT IN THE BACK ON THE NEXT BIN

    REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  2. fleshbot69

My favorite part is the corner of cheese left in the corner. Somehow it feels intentional and more insulting

  3. darkenough812

Maybe bc I’m not staying until butt fuck o clock just so everything is stocked perfectly. I’ll do what I can in my allotted shift hours, unless you’re left with nothing or the closers consistently suck then it shouldn’t be a problem

  4. can’t waste product or risk cross contamination.

  5. Penguin_Tempura

This is how you create the morning vs. night shift mentality

  6. Captain_Fartbox

Because I’m cranky and tired and Fuck you and your breakfast shift.

  7. Uzasodinson

I already have to clean up after you and stock after you, I gotta stock for you, too?

Well, maybe not *you*, but I’ve hated the morning shift everywhere I’ve ever worked.

  8. iwatchmoviesandstuff

Bc im opening the next day too. Fuck future me it’s his problem

  9. Cause a blank pan is like a kitchen pop quiz. Wtf is normally in this slot? Hours go by, then third chit prints, ofc the cheese!

  10. Used_Object_6488

Management wants to be more “mindful” about product use and waste. If you open a new pack, you gotta date it for today, but if you open tomorrow, it lasts longer

  11. NotAFanOfOlives

Don’t want to waste, don’t want to mix old and new product.

  12. French1220

The new cheese is better off in its original packaging until tomorrow.

  13. Its fucking pre sliced cheese don’t be such cunt about it

  14. greendino71

    Depends on the kitchen

In most I worked in, the morning team does the stocking which is how I prefer

  15. razor_eve

Closing can be more hectic than opening. “Regular” restaurants are usually more busy in the evening than the mornings, plus whatever they run out of they have to prep. Morning shifts usually open and leave things dirty for night shift. Night shifts have have everything clean for you. It takes less 2 minutes to replace what is in the photo. OP was looking for anything to post. Maybe switch shifts with the night shift.

  16. ElessarKhan

Shot in the dark but minimum wage, minimum effort

  17. EnTaroAdunExeggutor

    Cause I’m also opening tomorrow.

Trust me, I will still complain about it.

  18. CyrusPyrus

Cuz u can open the pack of slices and put it in ez. Not like u gotta slice em. Have u had to mop and clean every night? Last thing on ur mind is opening the 3 stack plastic of sliced cheese and put it in. Such a hard job

  19. Necessary_Main_9654

Something along the lines of “It upsets you enough that I find it funny”

  20. Jritter101

I’m not gonna lie i usually don’t leave stuff like that, but yesterday valentines day the day shift did 29 tickets, and I did 436.. and they tell me how they just watch Netflix all day cause it’s slow. So they can stock 🫠

  21. Possible equipment storage and they are hoarding?

  22. greatdude99

Because we get scheduled an hour before dinner service starts to stock our own stations.

  23. Professional_Salt444

Protocol is Protocol man. And i dont work breakfast

  24. Eversooner

Because we fired the guy who works my station yesterday before service and I’ve worked 25+ hours in less than 2 days. That problem is for opening me tomorrow.

  25. marlborohunnids

i mean i close like this, but i’m also the opener and sole cook of my kitchen so

  26. mark-suckaburger

Because it’s late they cleaned and stocked the whole kitchen. Quit being such a pansy and open a pack of cheese for fucks sake

  27. You need a clean pan for open. Here it is.

Work my closing shift and show me how it’s done if you’re so good

  28. i was forced to 😂 we couldnt throw ANY away so we had to store it in the container it goes in on the line 😭😭😭😭😭

  29. Tenshiijin

Hah that’s nothing. I’ve seen way worse.

Also I thought u were talking about the individually wrapped containers. Because…I’ve always seen that method as impractical and silly. Cheese for sure it’s best to indually wrap though. But most foods do just fine with a layer of wrap over the whole topper.

  30. Worriedlytumescent

I tell my people we’re all a team. We all miss things. We all cover for each other. If someone’s taking advantage or dragging I’ll take them aside but main point is we cover each other.

  31. modoodamoa

Ugh my Valentine’s rush adrenaline is still high, now that I’m off the clock, this makes me want to slap the one who closed like this with these exact two pieces of cheese.
