When it’s made with a pepper jelly/jam (spicy jam) it’s really good. A PBJ burger with regular jelly isn’t that great.
Many restaurants and pubs have them (always with the pepper jam) and I haven’t had a bad one yet.

I’m a bit uncomfy with the jelly but I would try it. I will ALWAYS smash just a peanut butter bacon burger though. Best combo ever.

I don’t know about the peanut butter, but whenever I go to Wendy’s, I pour a cup of sweet and sour sauce in my burger. I started doing this as a kid, because I thought it resembled a krabby patty with jellyfish jelly. I think that sauce complements their burgers.

Peanut butter bacon cheese burgers are amazing. Jelly/spicy jelly is good. I prefer a different twist though.
A dark toasted bun.
Peanut butter on both sides of the toasted bun so it melts and gets creamy.
Burger with American cheese and crispy bacon.
Fired onions and fried jalapenos on top of the burger.
Generous drizzle of Carolina Gold BBQ sauce on the patty before putting the top bun on.
