This was my first Michelin Star restaurant and my first fine dining experience. Was absolutely incredible.
I was always skeptical of fine dining and vegetables and this place completely turned me around. It’s a shame they do not offer this type of menu anymore.
I never had a chance to go back due to the pandemic and their format change. I have had some great meals since then, but there’s always 1 or 2 dishes I don’t quite “get”. Blue Hill I loved every bite.
Not pictured are their bread and butter (wow) and a handful of amuses and fresh vegetable snacks.
Obviously, not the best plating in the world. How do you guys think this holds up 5 years later? Any places you would recommend to fill the void?

this was the last meal i had there. went every year around thanksgiving and again end of july for my bday from 2003ish till 2019. even when i moved across country we still made it back. they always remembered us and said hello and welcome back knew our wine preferences and my deathly shellfish allergy. one of the best of the best overall food and service places. i stl dream of making it to the farm for dinner.
