Hey everyone! Can anyone tell me what this is? Ive been to a lot of Korean places and this is the first time I see this. It was served with the banchan and each person was given their individual serving. I really liked it and just wanted to know more about it and educate myself. Thank you in advanced!

  1. Omg I loveee this it’s just barley (bori) rice with yeolmu kimchi! (Young summer radish)
Really good if you get more of the kimchi juice + some sesame oil and mix it all up!!

I think this must be yeolmu bibimbap. The greens are radish greens, and that’s barley instead of rice. You can add more ingredients, including a little gochujang like you would with traditional bibimbap. Much healthier alternative.

Looks like bori-bab (barley rice?). It’s usually served in restaurants as sort of an appetizer, with greens and sesame oil.

  4. 보리밥 열무 비빔밥 (Radish greens bibimbap with steamed barley)
