Went with some friends to Roka Akor for the first time for restaurant week and we all felt it was such a great meal and deal! First of all we didn’t realize we get all of the items in the first course. We each got 1 Sashimi Taco, 2 Dumplings, and 4 pieces of Spicy Tuna Maki. I enjoyed the dumplings the most but everything was good.
Then for the second course I got the Korean Spiced Lamb Cutlets which were cooked perfectly and tasted great with the gochujang sauce. My friends got the 6oz steak that they said had a perfect amount of truffle butter.
We were also served fingerling potatoes for the table.
Finally for dessert we had a choice of chocolate lava cake that seriously hit the a lot or matcha cheesecake with mango. Both were great!
My friend and i also did the $30 beverage pairing which included a white wine, a champagne, a red wine, and an espresso martini!
