Everyone else had V-day plans that didn’t include me…so one of the rare times that I got to cook for myself without worrying about someone else’s tastes or schedule.
Was only my second time trying homemade pasta and I learned that:
1. I don’t hate cooking nearly as much as I thought. It’s a lot more enjoyable when I get to take my sweet time and am only thinking about what I want and like.
2. I’ve gotten a lot better at cooking/following instructions than a couple years ago when I first tried making pasta. Was disastrous the first time, this time was flawless and dare I say easy, even if time consuming.
Noted all 3 because I know some might want more detailed or a different form of instructions than others. All I did different was doubled the garlic ( I really love garlic, so do this with most recipes) and sauted a small minced shallot with it.
The pasta itself I did homemade (not necessary) and the recipe is in the pictures on the back of the flour bag. If you’re doing it by hand like I did, highly recommend really rolling it as thin as you can possibly get it, and also don’t be afraid to lightly flour as you go. Got those tips from someone on YouTube who’s whole channel is just her making pasta lol
I just add a dash of vanilla and a shake of cinnamon to the crumble. It is heavy on the crumble (just how I like it), so if you prefer less crumble topping, I’d half the crumble part of the recipe or double the blueberry part, as she suggests in the video.

I love cooking, and our dinner tonight took 8 hours alltogether with the crock pot simmering and such, but I never have enough patience to make pasta from the scratch 😀
Yours look sooo good!
