So when you eat that with a bunch of local friends & family you can all say, “I was there! We had no power. The restaurants gave all the food away free. We had an all night BBQ on the roof. The next morning garbage bags were piled up chest high and we wandered the stoops in our boxers it was so hot.”
Looks really beautiful. It was my Bubbe’s favorite cake, she grew up in Brooklyn. I got to make it a few times for her while she was alive.
