I’ve had a tofuture for about 6 years, It does the thing and it’s easy to clean

I have the Tofuture. Works as intended (and fairly quick), cleans up easily, and isn’t bulky.

I have tofuture. It works, easy to clean, BUT it’s a b- trying to pull those rubber cords down to each level. I get my nails done and I’m always worried the bands are going to break/rip off my nail or it’s going to fling back in my face.

Knowing what I know now I’d try tofubud. I wonder how hard it is to clean? Especially that spring.

  4. I have the tofubud. I really like it. Every part you can dismantle and throw in the dishwasher. Pretty quick set up and tear apart. You can also lightly press it where the spring is half engaged or have a harder press where the spring is fully engaged. I also like that I can pour out the liquid before taking it out of the press. Haven’t really found a downside yet. I’ve been using 2-3 times a week for just under 2 years.

I have the tofuture! I like it, but it’s weird that it “brands” my tofu. The bands can be kind of weird to maneuver, so if you are lacking in dexterity + a lit of strength, it would be difficult to maneuver. (It’s not too accessible friendly) However, it does get a huge amount of liquid out of the tofu in a short amount of time without compromising the integrity of the tofu!

I’ve used a cast iron pan for 10+ years with no issue. Don’t need some overly large unitasker in my kitchen.

Neither? I just put the tofu between two plates and set a moderately heavy bowl on that for a few minutes and it works pretty well. Plus I already have those things.

I have something like the one tofuture, it works great and easy to clean

  9. I have the Tofubud. It’s easy to use, clean, and store. It has a little lip on one side where you can obsessively pour out the water during pressing.

  10. I just buy tofu that doesn’t need pressing. Been veg for 17 years, never once done it.

Did not realize this was an unpopular opinion, but tofu presses are completely unnecessary :’) save your money

For some reason I just read ‘torture’ instead of ‘tofuture’… 😶
