Very well preserved bottle. Bouquet of white flowers, flint, lemon curds on the nose. The palate was full and youthful. The only indication of age were mild notes of buttered popcorn and softened structure. Lots of minerality and bold lemon zest on the palate with secondary and tertiary notes of sesame and nuts.
2006 Yquem (by the glass)
Had it with a cheese dessert. Apricots, stewed fruits, honey and beeswax. Would’ve loved more spice behind it. But overall a great dessert pairing.

When are you going to host a party for the rest of the r/wine community? I think most of us would be quite happy with just premier cru Leflaive and only NV Krug.
