Never had this one before. Got this Koginut squash at Whole Foods and put it to good use in veggie lentil soup. Very intense color, flavor and interesting apricot scent! And the seeds are super tasty when toasted.

Cool thanks squasher, looks good. 6 months ago I was amazed by a similar looking squash although id bet it was a different type.

I need to go to Whole Foods!
I haven’t been able to find my favorite squashes in the US, South Africn[gem squash](https://www.cooksister.com/2010/10/gem-squash-central-finding-them-growing-them-and-eating-them.html), the [boer pumpkin](http://theseedstead.com/wit-boer-pumpkin), and the South African Hubbard squash. Every winter I live in hope I can find them. I’ve seen seeds but I don’t have a garden and have a black thumb
I’m always on the lookout for new-to-me squashes
I have tried those. I like them. They are bit less sweet than butternut and have an interesting texture. I love finding new winter squash to try.
