Thanks to all who have offered advice on wheel replacement on their Kamado Joes. I also had original wheels that were shredded a little over a year after purchase. I wanted to post the following information as I didn't see anything on a wheel replacement for Big Joe 3.
As others have mentioned, the Dicasal wheels work great (https://amzn.to/3EF9mhz). Install was pretty simple. You will need a floor jack with some plywood and a wrench to unscrew old wheels off and screw new wheels on. The nest is pre-threaded and I only used the included washer with the wheels (wheels comes with washers, nuts, and wrenches for the wheels – the wrenches do not fit stock wheels). I
opted for the 5 inch and they move the BJ3 incredibly better than stock wheels. They also sit flush against the nest with no exposed threads. Be warned that they do increase the height just a bit, but overall great upgrade. Bonus points for color matching.
