Assalamualaykum everyone, I recently got into growing cherry tomatoes and this is my second year growing them, they seem to be doing fine however they have this weird bunch of black dots and specks on the body, should I be concerned? I propagated some basil from my basil plant to plant alongside the tomatoes just in case.

Can’t be sure for this picture, but might be alphids

I also think it might be aphids. Just get a spray bottle with dish soap and water and spray them off, i recommend doing this early in the morning or when the sun isnt at its strongest cause you could possibly burn your plants if leaving the spray on in the heat of the day. If the aphids problem is very bad, you can go for neem oil sprays. honestly, you can just grab a hose and spray them off or smush them, then rinse your plants clean.

Aphids, use an insecticide. Plenty of organic options available for this.
