Had these in early 2020. They weren’t “average consumer” spicy. They were SPICY spicy. None of my friends could finish one. I finished what they didn’t plus my own.

  1. You answered your own question but realistically they were never intended as a permanent product, they were introduced to fresh up their brand and maybe rope in a few new mouths, then hope a certain percentage of new customers continue to generate sales after they drop the temporary product to recoup their expenses

They weren’t very good. Barely any meat. Flavor was just ok.

6g protein is so funny to me that such a tiny amount just had to be labeled

    I can’t believe I missed these.

I also think it’s funny that ghost peppers scare the average consumer so much. A local company sells ghost pepper chips at my Costco and no joke, adults were *running* to the water fountain after one bite, dramatically spitting them out in the trash right by the sample station, etc. I threw a couple bags in my cart and several panicked suburbanites all started warning me about how spicy they were. One guy had a brother who could eat them, and the other adults were talking about how he ate his entire sample without even reacting.

Idk but these weren’t very good flavor wise or spice wise so nothing of value was really lost.

They were SPICY spicy? I guess we have different definitions of spicy because I’d give these a 1/10 on the spice scale.
