not my picture but you can see that’s what i’m desiring to have. not those premade hamburger patties i’ve been eating the past several years because they’re cheaper. showing my male dominance i want to mash the ground beef with my bear hands making it thin as possible to get those crispy edges.

    You can use your hands using a piece of parchment paper to smash the burgers. Or a burger smasher. I use a cast iron skillet, pre heat for 7 minutes on medium heat. 80/20 ground chuck. Form a meatball(s). I don’t weigh them, I just go by sight and feel. I spray a little avocado oil down before putting the meat on. Then put the meat on and smash. If your pan is hot enough and the burgers thin enough, they’ll cook quickly. Like two minutes per side. Just a quick comment about how I do smash burgers. 🫡
