Looks good, but bake it until it’s a much darker brown and you will taste a huge difference. The sugars will caramelize and bring out amazing complex flavors. Bake at 465F (scientifically the best temperature for optimum oven spring).

Hey all, thanks for the love! I make this in the evening. This is 3 cups AP with 1.5 cups warm water + 2 tsp salt and 1tsp active yeast. Mix together and cover for an hour. Give about 8 stretches and cover for another hour and stretch again. Leave overnight and heat DO to 450f ( mine won’t really get past that consistently) Fold into a loaf, cover and let rise for 30-40 minutes. I always throw a rack in the bottom of the DO. It gives a slightly less crunchy bottom crust, the kids appreciate it. Using parchment paper, cover and bake for 35 minutes or so, uncover and go for another 15-20. 🤘
