Please save me from my overthinking self, I’m circling the drain and I just know I’m over complicating this.
How are we handling the variability in colors used on each cookie? Do you make one label and include ingredients for all of your colors to be safe? A “may contain” type of idea? I’m a color nerd and don’t have standardized colors, just blend until it looks right. Really struggling with how to wrap my brain around this. 🙄

I like the ‘may contain’ idea. I’d rather know what all of the possible ingredients and contaminants are.
I’m in a different state, but I list all the colors that could possibly be in there. I had a line about, “contains one or more of the following colorants”, but I dropped it because the ingredient list was too long for my labels. I figure it’s better to list all of them, in case someone has a rare allergy. It’s actually only like 6 base colors. I can’t imagine someone being upset that it’s labeled as having a color that it does not contain. So far no one has asked, but I would give more info if anyone did.
