Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon cocoa powder (for the red velvet half)
1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and mix well.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
Divide the dough into two equal parts:
For the classic half: Add white chocolate chips and mix.
For the red velvet half: Mix in cocoa powder, red food coloring, and vanilla extract, then add half of the white chocolate chips.
Take a small amount of each dough and press them together to form a half-and-half ball. Place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
