Half fast job making a custom front shelf for a zgrill 450 e. Used scarp parts from projects and spent only 10 bucks for the front shelf.
Still a work in progress got to hot!
What I would of done differently was used regular unistrut instead of solid, would of saved so much time 🙃

This is about the dumbest grill mod I’ve ever seen. What exactly is the purpose of using wood for this? Accelerating you starting a fire that will then catch your house on fire?
Please don’t put any meat (raw or cooked) directly on the wood. Construction pine is far from food safe.
