  1. I like my hot cakes with peanut butter between the cakes instead of butter. I used to make those on deer hunts. They will keep you full for hours.

  2. You too???? we sere poor growing up. My dad was a military man and there were 6 of us. My mom once or twice a week would make syrup for the hot cakes on the stove and had a bottle she could wash to refill with the home made syrup. That's a memory you brought back for me. Thank you.

  3. I'm over 60, my grandma used Karo syrup in her homemade pancake syrup. Sometimes cooked down maple sap was added. God bless!

  4. Even the yellow bananas you buy at the market are really green They come off the ships green and are placed in a room and "forced" by adding a gas to the room that yellows them overnight. I used to pick them up in Camden, New Jersey by the truck load and distributed them across the country. Green as grass as they come off the ship. Yellow as saffron when they are loaded.

  5. The Hillbilly Kitchen Verses and Vittles, is my go to place for recipes and scripture verses. Thank you Becky!

  6. Thank you so much for this eggless recipe. I am currently volunteering in Malaysia at a Hospice for the terminally I’ll and Buddhist’s don’t eat eggs. I’ve had to rethink all my recipes so this one will mean I can do a lovely pancake breakfast in our cafeteria. 🙏🙋🏼‍♂️

  7. I tried to make Banana pancakes yesterday and unfortunately I forgot the baking powder…now I’ve got banana fry bread to have instead 😕

  8. This looks great. You're making me hungry. Lol😁 I know you pumpkin puree can be used as an egg substitute. Can you use it to make pumpkin pancakes?🥞 😋

  9. Hello dear from Ohio! I love bananas and pancakes. I just need gluten free flower. Have a blessed! and weekend. God bless always. You're a blessing. ✝️✝️💯

  10. I made the banana pancakes today. I used a frozen thawed banana.
This pancake recipe will be a part of my
    go to recipes.:)
    Yummy!!!

  11. You can also bake pancakes in the oven like I do 420 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes then shut off often and South bake for 4 to 5 minutes

  12. I’ll try this next week
I like to make waffles and freeze them then you can put in toaster that way we don’t have all the chemicals from store bought!
My favorite are corn if in a pinch jiffy mix with honey 🍯

  13. I like this channel. She always provides a good amount of direction and her explainations as to why the ingrediants do what they do. I love how she explains the benefits of certain ingredients and little technics that help. Great stuff for an amateur cook like me!

  14. Can you add an egg to the banana mixture anyway? That is a good tip to cover the pancake with a lid if it is thick just wondering if it would make them soggy? The only syrup that we had as kids was Lyles golden syrup I used to lather it on my bread thickly 😂😂

  15. You spoke words that encouraged this old boy, just when I needed them.

    Thank you.

GOD Bless You, your family and all of my fellow followers of "The Hillbilly Kitchen."

  16. This was a very good recipe for eggless pancakes.

I thought this episode was about "no eggs," but then you recited scripture from the Old Testament book of "Eggsidus."

"Oh me, oh my, I'm so eggstraordinarily confused!!!"

I'd better stop now, or I'll have egg all over my face!
    🤣🤣🤣

  17. A quote from Eggs-odus was Egg-actly what we needed in your Egg video. 🙂 Also, forgot to say for your other video that I would love to see how the country ham is made someday if you can do that video.

  18. My grandmother always made homemade brown sugar molasses (her name for it). I still prefer it over store bought syrup.
