Best BBQ in DFW in my opinion.

I've had Terry Black's, Pecan Lodge, Hard 8, Ten50, Ribee's, Slow Bone and many others over the years. This tops them all. Yes it's pricey, but it's worth it. Not to mention the free banana pudding afterwards.

Very pricy, what meat you do have looks delicious.

Glad I lived in Texas when I did so I could afford the BBQ. Couldn’t do it these days.

  3. Hutchins is legitimate. The fries are top notch, the self serve sides, the last dab of glaze they give the torpedo before hand off onto the tray, top quality brisket.

And the free pudding and soft serve. Their prices have increased on the brisket over the last near decade, but it’s a great meat treat every so often.

The Terry Blacks in down townDallas is a joke. I was so sad when I went there. Only the Austin (the OG) is good.

Just another person saying I’ve eaten there, it’s great.

  6. That looks great. I’m a genuine weirdo cause I’d pay $82 for that fried okra rn.

  7. looks great but $29/lb for pulled pork is outrageous

Hutchins is easily my second favorite place in the metroplex only behind Goldees.

  9. Heard on the $, but this is 3 servings at lunch. That’s $27.33 per person, that’s not bad value at all in my book.
(I’m not saying this is ONLY 3 servings – have I ate this much before by myself? Yes, yes I have.)

When I was young I didn’t care for okra at all. Now that I’m in my late 30’s I like okra in many different ways. Pickled. Fried. It’s good. The ones in your picture look like they could possibly be the best fried okra on the planet

Edit: OH SNAP I didn’t see the location till after I posted. I’m like 30 mins from them. I know what I’m doing this week
