First keto meal, taco bowl

    This is the way. I’ve been on a keto diet for basically 9yrs and I routinely buy 5-7lbs of beef that I render into taco meat. I use it over salads or over pork rinds as a nacho replacement. Very easy meal and extremely low carb.

    30g soured cream
    15g taco seasoning
    40g chunky salsa
    5% fat mince beef
    50g cheddar cheese

    9.1 net carbs
    65.5g protein

    If you make your own taco seasoning you can save some more carbs. All packaged seasoning I’ve found has maltodextrin.

    You can also use plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Tastes the same

    Here’s a simple taco seasoning recipe for you:

    * 1 tablespoon chili powder
    * 1/2 tablespoon cumin
    * 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    * 1 teaspoon onion powder
    * 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    * 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    * 1 teaspoon salt
    * 1 teaspoon paprika (or smoked)
