Long time ago someone gifted my mom this pasta machine. She said she was never able to use it because it kept leaving streaks on the dough. So I took it to see for myself and I cannot figure out how to fix it.
Made just a flour/water dough to test and it leaves these metal gray streaks. Looks like maybe even some tiny metal shavings. Doesn't matter how many times I run a piece of dough through it, happens every time.
Anyone know how to fix?

Either a deep clean or the coating on the roller is defective
Is there something in the flour or the mixer? Try rolling the dough thin using a rolling pin maybe you’ll see them. If it’s rust in the machine it should be brown stain
