You’ve got the “want” and the “will”, now get on YouTube and find the “how”. Good luck, you’ll never stop improving. No one does. Good job bud.

You did a great job on this. Just keep practicing, and you’ll get to where you get them exactly how you like em! Good job, mate!

Don’t stop. I didn’t discover a passion for cooking until my 30s. Keep that flame lit. Preferably at a hotter temperature for less time, but you’re on it!

Nice work! Keep at it!

Looks juicy and delicious

great job boss, i would’ve loved to have this typa dinner after school lol. try and get your homework done before the itis sets in!!
Stino_Beano
14 or not, your supervising adults are idiots for allowing you to cook in that carcinogenic catastrophe.
KarlPHungus
Keep at it, King!

Ask for a cast iron pan for your birthday and keep at it! I would’ve set something on fire at 14
filamonster
At 14 I didn’t even know what a steak was. Great job!
vgullotta
Nice job! Bangin meal right there!

Good stuff. The whole plate looks delicious. Keep it up!
rossimac007
Great job with the steak bud! Honestly though, please throw out that pan
Mavs757
Nice steak, but please throw that Teflon pan away before it makes you sick. All those scratches make me 😖
No_Jellyfish_820
Gotta stop using metal on that pan, but it’s already scratched up
Unable-Recording-796
For a 14 yo youre living like royalty, bravo. Invest in some stainless steel and a cast iron like lodge or something good (and if youre fortunate enough, ask for these as a birthday present – people would be more inclined to get you stuff like this). Good job!
Dr_Llamacita
You’re awesome for this! At 14 the only thing I could cook was microwaved popcorn, and I burned it almost every time. Keep it up!!
Bizarro_Murphy
That’s some fine work! Never stop cooking. It’s an amazing life skill. Keep at it and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

Yooooo go lil bro go

Looks like a solid medium. Terrific job OP! Keep on cooking.

Nice job! I don’t know how well done you wanted it (this is pretty well done and would be considered over cooked by most steak enjoyers), but if you want it *less* well done turn the heat up a bit so you get the crust faster. This will result in a more pink steak.
That being said, please, tell your parents to buy new pans. This looks like a really old (and beat up) non-stick skillet. That black coating (or what’s left of it) is toxic. When the coating is pristine, like in a brand new pan, it’s safe because it’s sealed. Once you get scratches in it (or scrub off 2/3 of it), it can leech into your food. It’s really not good for your health to cook anything in this pan.
AnotherDoubleBogey
very good.
i would invest in a nice meat thermometer to really fine tune your steaks
also, different cuts of meat cook faster than others. sirloin cooks very fast. ribeye slower.
ItsYimmy
Nice plate and keep the passion! My only critique has nothing to do with the food but the pan. If thats a non stick, please for your health get rid of that and get a cast iron if you have the means to do so. Although ifs a bit late now though 😅
MikeTheAmalgamator
I’m so sad for that pan.
Song-Super
you did great, looks amazing. invest in a nice pan and knife set. I’m sure comments have already told you and I’m not going to go through them but that pan is not safe to cook on.
SonnysMunchkin
Keep it up buddy.
Meat thermometer is my advice from someone who learned long ago.

That’s awesome for someone your age! Keep it up!
Now I need to address that nonstick pan. Please retire that thing, you are poisoning yourself slowly with that degrading coating.
PristinePrism
Great job! Please ask your parents for a $30 Lodge Cast Iron Pan (10-12”) and a $30 stainless steel pan (10-12”) for the next big holiday/birthday. They are much healthier for you, last for life, and level up your cooking.

14 and cooking? bravo young one
Oh yeah!! 👍💪
That nonstick pan with all the Teflon scratched off is just so disgusting, and reminds me straight to my childhood lol
Excellent chef. Ignore the bitter old farts.
I love me some corn on the cob, with lots of salt, pepper and butter just like that.
I like to put a double pat on my plate and douse it with S&P and then roll my 🌽 through it. Yum.
Try cooking your steak at a little higher temp for a little bit less time. You get a little bit better crust and a little bit pinker center.
Looking good!
I could cook a way better steak, but at your age I was making quesadillas in the microwave. You’ve got a bright future
You did that at 14? Good job dude!
I’m more impressed by the potatoes but good job!
Looks good!
Bro, I’m excited for you as a fellow cook/steak enthusiast. Props!
14 and killing it! You’ll only get better from here
Looks perfect Chef, maybe consider reverse searing?
