Lots of vodka. Using up potatoes. Don’t have a good sized sauce pan. Also, should I have put my potato slices in water before hand? Idk why I did that, I guess just memory from making potatoes at the nursing homes

    Dry your potatoes off. Don’t soak them for au gratin. That pan will work fine for roux/sauce
