Make some breakfast sandwiches with egg/sausage/cheese and freeze them. Wrap in a wet paper towel and microwave them to reheat. Or make egg frittata muffins with spinach/bacon/cheese and freeze those.

Eggs last past the expiration date. Sometimes up to 3 weeks or more after. Plate an egg in a cup full of water. As long as the egg is lying flat on the bottom, or even just touching the bottom the egg is still ok to eat. If it is floating I wouldn’t advise it. Just google how to check if an egg is still good if you are interested.

Going bad? How long are you keeping your eggs lmao

  4. Just curious how much did you pay for 60 eggs? I’d have to get offered a decent price to buy that many.

  5. The “cook and freeze” suggestions for sammiches and muffins are great. Raw eggs freeze well too, but you have to thaw to use, and it’s more process for the trade off.

I don’t ever think I’ve had eggs go bad from age

My best friend was worried about egg costs, so she showed up at Costco at 7 am and joined the line for a run on eggs. She ended up buying way too much and came home with over a hundred eggs. So we just finished making quiches for everyone we could think of.

Make some egg noodles! Easy to make and can be frozen

You can look up ways to store them, there are several different old methods.

  10. Some good ideas, with the burritos and so on, but you can also simply freeze them. Obviously you won’t but the whole egg in the freezer but you crack them, put them in a ziplock bag and there you go. Depending on your needs you shall separate whites and yolks, or you pre scramble them. Try to freeze them as flat as possible and then when in need, thaw them in the fridge.

This way they hold up to 8 months.

If you’re tired of fried and scrambled, egg drop soup is an easy way to get rid of them.

Make egg circles like on the McDonalds breakfast sandwiches and freeze them like hamburger patties. And to test if the eggs are still good, submerge an egg in water, if it floats it’s bad. You can also make and freeze mini quiche (make in a muffin pan).

  13. Cooking and freezing aside, you can dehydrate scrambled eggs and crush them into a protein powder. I think you have to remove the yolks first.

You could also make a shitload of homemade mayonnaise.

  14. Omelets

    mayo cheese and egg sandwiches

    Deviled eggs

    Potato egg salad

Breakfast egg burrito with bacon or sausage

Just a few ideas get to cookin’ OP!

  15. Keep them in a cold part of the fridge for 6 million years and they’d still be good. Most of them. Just make sure they don’t smell like farts lol

  16. I hope all your eggs spoil. You’re the reason i can’t even get a dozen anymore.

IDK why nobody mentioned this yet, but: pickled eggs. They can last months in the fridge.

Make some quiche and freeze it. Quiche bites. Large deviled eggs in cup cake pans to really flex your wealth

Eggs freeze well in breakfast sandwiches or as egg bites and in breakfast burritos. They are such a key part of my households ability to grab and go breakfast! I get them from my neighbor with chickens so I’m never one to waste eggs! Baked goods are another good way to use up eggs without eating copious amounts of just eggs. Same for homemade mayo (which is the base of so many dressings I make)

  20. ngl those scrambled eggs look bad, best way is in a pan ideally a small one.

  21. AsleepInteraction882

60 eggs are a bit too much, you are an egg if you ate it all now.

Month supply if you eat two a day. And very healthy. Definitely not shitty. Add a little milk or water if they begin to get dried out. Probably a “best by” date on the carton.

  23. AltruisticSalamander

Keep them in the fridge. They keep for months

  24. _LadyGodiva_

Use them to bake stuff you can freeze. I think you can freeze quiche or breakfast muffins or something.

  25. TheGuyWhoCantDraw

If you don’t plan to eat them raw you can definitely eat them past the exporation date

  26. Turbulent-Matter501

eggs keep for a long time, there’s no need to do this
