    I’m a huge burger fan, especially when it comes to Smash Burgers. I try to make them at home every week. Until recently, I was using a stainless steel frying pan, but the results weren’t quite what I expected. Plus, I could only cook one burger at a time, which made the whole process way too slow. So, I decided to invest in a semi-professional stainless steel griddle, and the difference has been incredible.

    From the very first time I made Smash Burgers on the new griddle, the results were spot on—I got that perfect crust I’d been chasing, with almost no effort. First try! I’m absolutely thrilled with my new griddle, and it’s made me even more excited to keep making Smash Burgers.

    Last weekend, I made two Smash Burgers at home, and here’s how they turned out. Oh, and I almost forgot—I always use the Lacy Edge technique for my Smash Burgers. It’s hands down my favorite method, giving me that crispy outer crust while keeping the inside juicy and flavorful.

    # The first burger:

    * Potato bun
    * 2x 90g Smash patties
    * Cheddar cheese
    * Crispy bacon
    * Soy-cured egg yolk sauce
    * Roasted red pepper emulsion with txistorra (a type of chorizo from the Basque Country) and roasted garlic
    * Piparra (a type of Basque chili pepper)
    * Mayo

    # The second burger:

    * Potato bun
    * 2x 90g Smash patties
    * Cheddar cheese
    * Crispy bacon
    * Lettuce
    * Tomato
    * Chopped onion
    * Pickles
    * Mayo, ketchup, and yellow mustard

    They were absolutely delicious! 😋

    You have a link/picture of your griddle? What kind of stove top do you have?
